Before You Try Something New, Get Grounded First!

My focus: get grounded, first. Then accelerate from there.

The kids are back in school and one of the biggest mistakes I can make is to take on something new or aim for doing more. I’ve turned down extra roles on the kids’ teams and opportunities to commit for this reason. I don’t want to put more on my plate. I want to do more with what’s already there…and get a smaller plate!
–
I do best in the long run filtering out what I have, de-cluttering around the home for peace and mental clarity, and getting everything back in place after the holidays. It’s also the time for me to focus on launching new and existing clients in a forward momentum and helping my kids dial in to their goals, too!
–
Without first getting settled, it’s otherwise just chaos. Once we get grounded, then and only then, can we branch out, try new things, or take things up a notch.
–
Pausing before launching is actually the first step!
