Tip for a Road Trip or Vacation: Stay Hydrated!

On a road trip in Ohio this AM! We travel often over the winter for my son’s gymnastics meets and frequently year round for my shows, track meets, and family vacations. One key tip I can offer that grounds me each time: Start the day with water!

When away from home, I guarantee that all other variables WILL go off norm regarding sleep, food choices, access to a gym, and daily routine. However, staying hydrated is a choice in our control and it is what keeps your system in check for mental and physical wellbeing today and in days to come.

Benefits of routine hydration:
Digestion in check
Minimizes cravings for sugar
Energy stays elevated
The body keeps a rhythm, which is very critical for immunity

Water is our friend. I hydrate to start the day, everyday, home or away!
