-Be honest! You’re still journaling what you typically eat daily and this will only work if you’re truly honest to you. Eating it and not writing it down doesn’t mean it didn’t happen! Record it and be willing to face the facts….it will be ok!
I was recalling a time in the past when I used to buy a bag of peanut butter M&M’s and stash them in the pencil drawer. I’d walk by several times a day tossing a handful or two into my mouth. When we ran out, I’d buy more. Those little tosses never mattered to me because it was little, on-the-go grabs, not a sit down dessert. BUT, it was those little grabs that added up to a whole lot of calories and fat over time. I had developed a habit that was producing results I didn’t want. It wasn’t just about changing my diet, but more importantly owning and changing my habits. Being honest about the little brings big results.
What usually happens when we analyze what we eat is we make better choices because we are off autopilot and we’re thinking about our choices. So you’re likely not eating what you did last week. Really look thru the pantry and recall the “usual” sugar treats and eats that you eat routinely. Remember, only you will see this, it’s not up for general review!
I commend you for making the choice to join this challenge. Now make a pact to yourself to stay with it for the full 21 days! You’ve got this!
