You’re two weeks down and one to go on this challenge! 2/3 of the way there! I’m full of energy and enthusiasm. My body feels great, my confidence is high, and I’m so thankful for this time of reflection and redirection.
Keep your momentum for the week ahead. Start to evaluate how you will allow sugar back in your diet after Day 21. I’m writing this on my Day 22, as my 21 days ended yesterday. I really don’t even want the sugar now that I’m “allowed” to have it. I’m planning to keep going without it unless I’m doing something special and want a little dessert. That feels balanced to me.
If you feel restricted from this, then I’ll tell you that you need more time for changing your habits. Either way, we each will need to keep “practicing” being mindful and planning our eats. We want to get you to the point where you can find balance with sugar here and there rather than make it a part of each meal or even daily intake. It should be a treat and not a given in your day.
