-Are you seeing changes in your body, on the scale, or in your clothes?
-Are you uncomfortable during your workouts?
-Has your body figured you out?
-Are you getting stronger?
-Are you using your time wisely while at the gym?
-Are you bored in your “routine”?
It’s always a journey and we don’t ever reach our destination to the point where we just “arrive”, then hang up the towel and call it a day. We hit goals and then we should make new ones that always keep us challenged. Even if we’re aiming to maintain our current size and weight, it’s always going to be a work in progress to maintain and/or improve our fitness.
I do strive to push myself each time and I do want to keep seeing progress. I don’t want to look the same way in six months or be lifting the same size weight that I am today. That will tell me that I have NOT been asking myself my own questions above!
