I’ve heard so many people say, “I just don’t lose weight.” Well, no one does! Losing weight doesn’t start with weight loss. It starts with identifying the cause of the unwanted weight. It starts with acknowledging the problem and then making a plan of attack to go after it. This is often the hardest step and major downfall for many, many people. It’s often hard for many to “own” the problem. But once you do, you can’t just think about it, you have to set goals and activate a plan of attack!
Losing weight is also about changing our habits. Our bodies are an adaptation to our lifestyles and we’re just reflective of our daily choices. So if you want a change, you have to make a change, for good. Warning! Old habits will creep back up, but you’ve got to find a way to make your new healthy habits stronger than your old ones. Changing your habits, making new, healthy lifestyle choices is what leads to weight loss for good, bottom line!
