else’s life, we also have to realize we’re influenced by those we’re around, too. It goes both ways.
TO DO:
Surround yourself with like-minded people. As you’re working this low or no-sugar process, what has the reaction of those around you been? Supportive, challenging, or distracting to you? If you’re around someone who chooses a diet and lifestyle completely opposite of yours, then it will be tough to relate to them in the long run.
While we can’t always choose our relationships with family members, we can choose our friendships. It’s a catch, really, to try to work towards being an influence on someone for the better, but in the meantime, you can find others who are like minded in their diet and physical activity plans. Having those people in your lives for accountability and encouragement will enhance your journey and progress. It may be someone in your neighborhood, at your gym, church, or work place….you do have options! While you’re wrapping up this challenge and thinking forward towards your new sugar habits, think through who can help you find your balance towards motivation, encouragement, and accountability as you carry on with your new lifestyle!
Miss a day in the challenge?
