NOW is such a great time to look at your habits and set yourself up for change BEFORE the holidays! Don’t have the “I’ll deal with it later”, like after January 1 mindset. Five years ago I did that and when later showed up, I was in a really tough spot and had TONS more work to do. Head it off and get ahead of the holiday parties, food, and stress. Set up a plan NOW!
How to?! It’s simple, really. You can start change by aknowledging what needs to change. The best thing you can do is to record your diet over the course of three days. Write out EVERYTHING you eat and drink. Record serving sizes, times of day, and related stressors {like I ate because I was nervous, bored, tired, etc.} Be honest with yourself….key point!
Also, record your life habits like sleep, down time, TV watching, work hours, activity levels and events. Once you have a big picture of what you do, then you can see where and what needs to change, develop a plan to do so, and then activate it!
