We heard a lady eating in a booth next to us say, “I joined a gym with a sauna so I could just sweat off my fat.” That’s not how it works.
And sweat is NOT fat crying, as the memes say. You may weigh less afterwards, but that is water loss, not fat. Sweating is your body’s response to keep your core at a constant safe temperature so your organs don’t cook!
Why is sweating SO important? It is one of the top ways to rid a body of all the sludge and yuck from our air, food, and water. The skin is an effective organ of detox and that is how it can leave the body and keep us in good health!
